Emma Scarcliffe
Emma joined Bridges Project in 2011, having worked for a range of charities and private companies. Her previous experience includes managing projects for young offenders, people recovering from substance use and youth employability programmes. Emma is responsible for Bridges Project’s strategic plan, the overall leadership and management of the organisation and ensuring that Bridges Project meets its objectives as a charity.
Finance & Administration Manager
Margaret McLean
Margaret joined Bridges Project in January 2017, having worked for a number of years at 6VT, Edinburgh’s City Youth Café, where she looked after all aspects of the organisation’s Finance, HR and Administration. She has been in the charity sector for over 20 years, but started her career in banking and finance. Margaret is also an active volunteers in her local community.
Fundraising and Communications Manager
Simen Holm
Simen joined Bridges Project in 2020. Prior to his appointment, Simen worked in various capacities for the social inclusion charity EPIC Assist Scotland and the civil society organisation UN House Scotland. He has also worked as an interpreter for The City of Edinburgh Council and other public Scottish institutions. As well as this, Simen has worked as a journalist in his native Norway.
Administrator
Corinne Woods
Corinne has been part of our busy administration team since 2010. She has experience of working in administration in the private sector. Corrine provides administration support, and is involved with managing our finances, building and health and safety. She makes sure young people and partners feel welcome and respected when they phone or come in to the office.
Administrator
Elaine Harris
Elaine has over 20 years of administration and secretarial experience from private companies, charities and schools. She has also worked directly with young people with additional support needs in primary and secondary school. Elaine is frequently the ‘voice’ and ‘face’ of Bridges Project in her reception role in the front office.
