Emma Scarcliffe,

CEO

Emma is responsible for developing Bridges Project’s strategic plan, the overall leadership and management of the organisation and ensuring that Bridges Project meets its objectives as a charity.

Emma joined Bridges Project in 2011, having worked for a range of charities and private companies. Her previous experience includes managing projects for young offenders, people recovering from substance use and youth employability programmes.

 

Margaret McLean,

Finance & Administration Manager

Margaret oversees Bridges Project’s finances as well as the overall administration of the charity.

Margaret joined Bridges Project in January 2017, having worked for a number of years at 6VT, Edinburgh’s City Youth Café, where she looked after all aspects of the organisation’s Finance, HR and Administration. She has been in the charity sector for over 20 years, but started her career in banking and finance. Margaret is also an active volunteer in her local community.

 

Rhona Emsley, Administrator (Finance)

Rhona is responsible for the day-to-day admin and finance tasks at Bridges Project.

Rhona joined Bridges Project in 2024. She has many years’ experience in supporting an early years campaign with operational and administrative support. Before finding her passion for working in the charity sector, Rhona worked in a variety of other roles.

 

Elaine Harris,

Administrator

Elaine is frequently the ‘voice’ and ‘face’ of Bridges Project in her reception role in the front office.

Elaine has over 20 years of administration and secretarial experience from private companies, charities and schools. She has also worked directly with young people with additional support needs in primary and secondary school.

 

Natasha McInninie, Practice Manager

Natasha manages the practice team and coordinates referrals into Bridges Project’s various services. She also attend meetings with a range of key partners such as social work, health professionals, school guidance and support staff, college staff, East Lothian Works and Skills Development Scotland.

Natasha joined Bridges Project in 2015 as Transitions Service Coordinator before taking on her current role in 2022. She brings with her a wide range of experience from areas such as nursing, independent living, youth clubs, community health education, youth community regeneration and family support. Natasha holds a Community Education degree from the University of Edinburgh.

 

Simen Holm, Fundraising & Communications Manager

Simen is responsible for sourcing funding for Bridges Project’s various services and activities and for reporting back to funders. He also manages the charity’s website and social media.

Simen joined Bridges Project in 2020. Prior to his appointment, Simen worked in various capacities for the social inclusion charity EPIC Assist Scotland and the civil society organisation UN House Scotland. He has also worked as an interpreter for The City of Edinburgh Council and other public Scottish institutions. As well as this, Simen has worked as a journalist in his native Norway.
