Sarah Lawlor, Employability Support Worker

Our Employability Support Worker helps young people overcome personal challenges and move into positive destinations such as further education and work.

Sarah joined Bridges Project in September 2024, initially as a Schools Employability Support Worker. She previously worked as a primary school teacher and holds an Education Studies degree from Queen Margaret University. Alongside Bridges Project, Sarah is the subject of a case study for Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF), which aims to support young people experiencing poverty through community learning and development opportunities.

 

Kelly Muir, Employability Support Worker (16+)

Our Employability Support Worker 16+ supports young people to develop the skills they need to move on to employment or further education through one-to-one sessions, workshops and sector-focused courses.

Kelly joined Bridges Project in 2024, initially as a Group Support Worker. She has previously worked as Manager of a soft play venue and as a Supply Classroom Assistant. Kelly also holds a degree in Psychology, with a specialisation in attachment theory and child development.

 

Grant Hamilton, Educational Support Worker

Our Educational Support Worker helps young people get the skills they need to move into work, further education or apprenticeships through mentoring sessions, sector-focused courses and work experience placements.

Grant has had several roles at Bridges Project since he joined us in January 2019. Before Bridges Project, Grant worked in Learning & Development and HR within the 5-star hospitality industry for a number of years. He is accredited in training, management, coaching and advocacy.
